I have a few joyo's in my collection- the worst of them is at least as good as any DOD or Boss. The octave fuzz that may or may not pick up Mexican radio stations depending on the weather? That one's not for sale.. ever….
Stop buying expensive pedals but do buy a $7000 insect-eaten P bass to play through your Joyo. 🤷♂

I will show you how my 20$ amazon basics pedals sounds on my 6000 EUR Custom bass.The Blend knob was really usefull I guess.
I've used demonfx clones, Joyo, and the same persists across all of them: some type of prominent issue arises eventually. They're def good for budget, but they will break, sometimes just having problems from the start.
I have friends who bought Joyo pedals and they all had problems with them after a short while (like making unusual noises that only go away after you cut the pedal's power, only to come back after a few minutes etc). Cheap comes with a price, i might say 🙂

Sounds nice, but I'd rather save up and pay for a real Sansamp, Darkglass, etc. that will last forever than pay for a cheap Chinese copy that breaks in 3 months. I've been down that road before, and I learned the hard way: buy right the first time, and you'll never have to buy again.

cheap chinese sansamp copy. big deal. one in a million. just can't see the reason why shoud anyone promote and advertise stealing IP.

Loved my joyo monomyth for two weeks, then rh switch stopped working, rendering useless, sent it back, great sound but we need reliability. As an engineer I would have been able to fix. It's all a balance I suppose.
Sounds good, although the extreme distortion is probably not something I would ever use.
I have to say I had never used anything from Joyo before but I purchased their wireless system a while back and it has been flawless.🤘🤘🤘🎸🎸🎸 Great Video!!

Bloody hell, that J-ish bass with the burl and active electronics is extremely nice and sounds excellent clean and with that low-mid gain drive in the intro
