Unearth need no introduction. They helped usher in a new sound and style to the American hardcore and metal scene in the 90’s with their 7 string guitars. Coming up in Boston, Mass. with bands like Overcast and Shadows Fall, Unearth have been kicking ass and taking names for 25 years, and show no signs of slowing down. Their latest offering, The Wretched; The Ruinous, featuring art on the cover, singles and merch by Alexandre Goulet, is an evolution of themes of humanity’s self destruction they have explored before, and an evolution of their writing and sound after the departure of long time guitarist Ken Susi.

Frontman Trevor Phipps, sat down with us for a quick chat on their tour stop in Toronto, before tearing the roof off of yet another club with their bone crushing brand of metalcore.
