Clark could still feel the heat because there was kryptonite in his eyes when he touched them with the blowtorch it melted it and then his eyes started to heal that's why

I was blind for while as a child my oldest sister played a game with me called stare at the sun. I held my eyes open for I minute and had to quit, my sister said I could do much better than that and so she forced my eyelids open for 10 minutes and I was blind for a few weeks afterward.
I am surprised nobody questioned the fact that a blind guy (Clark) is grabbing books from a locker. Lastly, when Clark drops the books nobody stops to help him pick them up. NOBODY CARED TO HELP A BLIND MAN PICK UP BOOKS OFF THE FLOOR! I guess people from Kansas are mean.
In that episode, i feel Michael articulate Sour Puss C a bit more. Do anyone agree and if yes, do you think it's because he noticed how it sound when say it fast ?
Hearing Lana crying as she drove away was heart wrenching. One of the greatest and most terrible moments in Smallville. The curse of having powers.
Wow, Talkville, Brian spacifically, as a blind person myself I can confirm that we are nothing but retards, and burdons to everybody we come in contact with.
I like episodes where Clarks gains a new ability. The two storylines I liked this episode were Clark's new power and the Lional-Chloe-Clark drama.
The freak of the week wasn't that great. I didn't like that he kidnapped Pete and all the issue with the trial was so absurd. The fact that judge Ross told everything to the sheriff, another judge needed to judge the offender and all the police officers needed to try save Pete, a teenager who was kidnapped!

Great Reaction! I think Clark was able to focus on Chloe because he recognized her voice, like if you hear a bunch of stuff you will naturally key in on the things most familiar. An eye doctor doesnt always do an eye scan. Also the Kryptonite makes Clark human in a sense when he's infected with it so his eyes for a time were blind human eyes. She was mad at Clark because Clark brung her knowing how dangerous Lex was. I give this ep half a rose just because I liked the hearing thing but clark jumping on and off the car was so silly to me lol

Martha telling Clark not to expect his sight back isn’t parental at all. I’ve got four kids and the last thing you do when one of them is hurt is take away their hope… yes you want to teach your kids to be grounded and realistic, but you don’t shit on their optimism when they are attempting to cheer themselves up… “I think I’ll walk again mommy, I believe in myself”… “shut up Timmy, you’ll never walk again! Ever! Now crawl to your room”

There are so many things that we need to just let go on shows like this but as broke as the Kents always are, then why waste money on glasses on day one when we know he changes so fast? He had them for less than 24 hours.
