Why do so many Mandalorians get shot through their armor when beskar is supposedly indestructible? Known as Mandalorian steel, beskar is only found on Mandalore and its moon, Concordia. In its purest form, it is durable enough to withstand a direct blaster shot and even repel lightsaber strikes.
The Mandalorians’ famed success in combating Jedi was due in large part to the training and skill of their warriors, but the armor they wore kept them alive long enough for their skills to be effective. As the demand for beskar grew across the galaxy, armorers started mixing the rare metal with other alloys, which made the armor less effective. Mandalorian suits of armor that are pure beskar have become extremely rare, and are therefore highly sought after.

actually… it you want to be completely accurate it’s because the ones that die from it aren’t main characters
I always wondered why Din's armor could take everything. When he helped bo Katan, he was the only one who could walk down the hallway getting shot.
I don't get why Bo Katan and her clan couldn't do the same.
They have never brought it up in cannon. They all just say they have beskar armor.
Wouldn't the armorer have made armor for others out of the beskar Din brought her.
I assume his beskar spear went into making that helmet for the new foundling. Only the tip went to grogu.
Under Harry Potter's cloak of invisibility, I wear a full suit of Beskar (bascaar?), and a Mandalorian jetpack with several aerobically regenerated dilithium-ion power cells
Its sad to think that Mandalorians are now going extinct, their planet was destroyed by the Empire by glassing it and their people are now scattered across the galaxy.
They might end up becoming hired mercenaries and bounty hunters that will slowly change until they have forgotten their ancestral past.

Also, more importantly, it's just a massive continuity error created by the show which had to have all these retcon explanations added to it
So when shooting beskar armor, stormtrooper aiming is increased.
If you just payed attention to star wars you would this fact
Add to the fact that almost all the Beskar armors we see are family heirlooms that are thousands of years old.
Don't forget the most important element – plot armour…

You didn't answer the question you just implied that they got shot because their armor isn't pure bascaar, when in reality all of them are.
Is that why most of the painted armor looks like plastic?
