  1. I feel like all of the jerseys have the same vibe, and I don’t like it. Seems too plastic. That being said…it’s why I like Atlanta and SKC. The continuity you mentioned isn’t boring, it’s their brand. I respect that!

  2. It seems that every team, all over the world, is trying tooo much. It's kind of like when IPAs started taking over the beer world. Every brewery had to make the most exotic IPA, and the next thing you know, nothing was exotic anymore. I really am starting to appreciate teams that have a lot of continuity in their shirts, instead of change for the sake of change.

  3. Alright let's do it, same order as the video:

DC – B – good idea, but a little too subtle to stand out from a distance
    Nashville – D – I don't really care that it's Johnny Cash, it's just a boring black kit
Houston – C – agree on this, orange and black are great colors and they ought to come up with something better
LAG – A – that collar is wonderful and it's a neat kit for something they'll only wear a few times per year
LAFC – B – really curious how this will looks as a full kit but I'm not optimistic
Orlando – A – can't go wrong with purple and gold. Unfortunately I liked their previous home kit even better so this feels like a slight step down
NYRB – C – this would be a cool 3rd kit for special occasions but it looks wrong for a normal away kit
    Vancouver – C – very bland
NYCFC – S – nailed the execution, looks great up close and I have a feeling it'll translate very well to TV
Toronto – D – this is a HOME KIT for the Reds…. I feel bad for their fans, they didn't ask to change colors
Charlotte – B – solid kit, maybe a little too simple, but they're developing a motif that I think will let them get more adventurous in the future
Philly – B – MY TEAM! time will tell if I warm up to this but right now I feel like it's a little too weird for me
    SKC – C – is this a new kit?
ATL – A – okay this definitely isn't a new kit but it's also their iconic initial kit and it kicks ass
Cinci – C – not as sharp as their previous kits
Miami – B – some really awesome detailing on this kit, but in the end it still looks like just a standard black kit from a distance
Austin – D – the "Voices" kit has a lot of voices because it is just schizophrenic
Columbus – A – yet another stylish black-and-yellow from them
St. Louis – A (home), B (away) – both are new this year. The home kit looks like one of the best initial home kits since Atlanta. I love the pinstripes on the away kit
Dallas – C – the pattern looks kinda goofy to me but I appreciate them trying
    New England – B – it's alright
Chicago – S – WE HAVE A WINNER. It's a shame the team isn't better because this kit is going to look amazing on TV
RSL – B – really like the color choices, but the design is too simple
Seattle – A – I wanted to give this an S but I'm just not on board with Seattle in red yet
Colorado – A – well designed kit, not much more to say
Portland – A – can't remember the last Portland kit I didn't like… honestly this is either an S or a C and I haven't decided which, but I'm leaning towards the former
San Jose – A – finally a San Jose kit to get excited about
Minnesota – S – just maybe this kit will convince Reynoso to stay in Minnesota lol

    Overall tiers:
    S – NYCFC, Chicago, Minnesota
A – St. Louis (home), LAG, Orlando, ATL, Columbus, Seattle, Colorado, Portland, San Jose
B – St. Louis (away), DC, LAFC, Charlotte, Philly, Miami, New England, RSL
C – Houston, NYRB, Vancouver, SKC, Cinci, Dallas
    D – Nashville, Toronto, Austin

  4. I love the kit ranking videos, and I appreciate your opinions. To keep this from being a too-long comment, I'll stick to my disagreements. (Nevertheless, it'll be a long comment. 😁)
    1) DC United – sure, the concept is great, but the execution – for a soccer uniform – fails
    2) the 2 LAs – training top vs something that actually looks like a uniform. Galaxy win
    3) Charlotte's color scheme sucks. I like purple; and I like the "process" blue. But together? Nah.
    4) Sporting KC: "something to be said for brand continuity" YES! This is one thing that I like about Celtic FC. They're the Hoops, dammit, and don't forget it. Too many teams are just all over the place in their kits from year to year.
    5) Cincy's kit is a B? For that …. that …. whatever that design's supposed to be?
    6) Austin gets an S for a barcode shirt? But Atlanta's classic 5 stripes gets a B? C'mon, man.
    7) I hate, hate, hate kits with prints like the Seattle shirt. Sure, I like the concept. But, the graphic is too realistic. (Same reason I don't like the Mexico '98 or Tunisia '22 shirts, for example.)
    8) There are at least 4 Ds: Austin, LAFC, Philly (am I just trolling?), and Red Bulls.

  5. I want to drink Carson Galaxy's tears. 2:52 Military and a training top? It's smoke brother… because we score goals and smoke weed. Keep comparing Carson to LA. It's not going to go well for you. hahaha. I DO appreciate your videos but just understand that Adidas has full control on these. We could judge these more if they were allowed to have their own kit providers individually.

I also don't like the personal grudges with some of the jerseys. Mad about a team going back to a cup-winning style of shirt??? Like, Charlotte is S tier this year with that purple and blue. Wild. I even thought Galaxy was a decent move after paying homage to their old deep teal-ish color. You also went from waxing poetic about Austin and then a jersey later you shit on what the texas teams are doing. I'm from New England, swore off Revs but still think calling them a "random" team is a bit brash. They play at a football stadium because they're owned by Bob Kraft of the Patriots.

I appreciate the input and if you were looking for emotion here you got it out of me.
