  1. This would make my life so awesome. I have fibromyalgia and spend most of my time in bed. I have a kid so having a set up in my bed to digital art and such is hard since I like big screens for multiple windows and full size keyboard because of my pain.

  2. Really nice video. But wouldn't the computer draw more power when in game than just being in the menu? I would have tested in the gameplay. And also another one… Why did you use plywood and not aluminium? Thanks for the answers. Keep up the good work. Loving it.

  3. Классное видео!!! Это большой ноутбук! Это большой ноутбук! Замечательно! Сделайте русскую озвучку, чтобы не надо было отрываться от видео на субтитры, и тогда у вас будет ещё больше ааудитория

  4. This might actually be somewhat useful, as a powerful mobile workstation that can be taken pretty much anywhere. Just strap some folding legs to the bottom and you have a mobile workstation table!

  5. My first PC had a 14 inch monitor (CRT), if I wanted a 19 inch monitor it would cost $1000 to $1500. When LCD's monitors came in my first one was a 21 inch. I have spent my entire life getting bigger monitors. My first laptop was a 17 inch Dell. About 5 years after buying that I was thinking about getting a new one and found Dell no longer made 17 inch laptops (that has changed in recent years), but they were now selling 13 inch laptops. I was so aggravated I have not bought a laptop since. This asinine idea that laptops need to be obscenely small and light needs to be sent the way of the dodo bird. We are adults, carrying a 5 or even 10 pound item should not be that big of a problem. The other thing that irritates me about laptops is that you cannot upgrade them. It would seem to me that after almost 30 years a product would get a bit of innovation. A few years a go I started working on a SFF build which will amount to being a 19 inch "laptop". It's only partially done as building the custom heat sink is not that easy (or cheap), so as to keep it just over 2 inches in height.

    Couple thoughts for you;
    1) For the case/enclosure materials you could just fold some aluminum, or vacuum form a variety of plastic sheets. It would drastically reduce the size and weight.
    2) Very large batteries are made for the RC world, they can be hooked up in series to give more output, or in parallel to give you more run time (or both). They would reduce the weight and allow you to make things thinner and lighter. Also I know I have seen a battery charge control that could be used to tell windows that your running on a battery and what the charge is.
    3) All the those transformers or switching power supplies and wire in there is adding a lot of unnecessary weight. There are power control modules that could handle all that in one small circuit board.
