Growing up in southern Cali in the 90s you were surrounded by gang culture. I know all kinds of gang politic stuff I really have no business knowing.
For example, we know Maravilla had always had a green light on them. That means all Mexican gangs in Southern California that answers to the Mexican mafia(All of them) is ordered to kill anyone from Maravilla.

Cholo derives from the word xoloitzcuitli it's a dog from Mexico not the Chihuahua dog. Paisas from Mexico would call gang members cholos meaning to call them street dogs. That word has stuck to this day. there's a lot of history that shaped East Los. Thanks for showing this video.👍
